Just set off from Darlington. Already been travelling an hour before getting there. Usually love these trips, full of hope and expectation. But today, just full of hope! Seen the news that trains from London to the North East are likely to be cancelled! This could be one of the greatest sporting days of my life!
I can see why you might say that. I am not supportive of the current owners, based purely on the footballing decisions they have made over the past two years. I am supportive of the team, I just expect them to give everything they have for the shirt. My support for the Club is unconditional until the day I die. It is my Club. Owners, Coaches and Players (of varying ability) are simply passing through.
Yes I get it. However the lack of effort and continued mistakes on show Tuesday by the team looked like they’ve chalked fook on this season aswell. The fault lies with the owners and I believe Struber to some degree as he appears very limited in his managerial skillset and after his initial new manager mini-bounce, is now playing our better players out of position and has brought in worse players than we already had. Grim times indeed.....
Can I pass on my effusive thanks Mr Juddy G for your sound, and some might say, insightful advice, tips and guidance!
Now, as you all know, I’m not one to moan but......this train is now an hour late and hasn’t moved for a half hour. Bugger all to do with the weather. Kings X has one platform (ONE PLATFORM) open!! FFS! You can imagine the carnage that is causing. Fcking ridiculous. Still, I’m not one to moan.
No. Through Donny. We’re now been advised to take the train back North from Peterborough!! They can’t guarantee getting into Kings X. That’s a bit of a sod for those of us travelling by train to today’s game. But, as my hero Victor Meldrew wouldn’t say, “Still, I’ve had worse days........no I bloody well haven’t! This is pathetic.” I could miss my heroes putting four past Fulham. I’ll be devastated.
Not being able to get into Kings Cross will affect my boys. They would go through Doncaster, Grantham, Peterborough, Welwyn Garden City and on to Kings Cross. I' m going to text them to find out how they are getting on.
