On now channel 5 - casualty 24/7 Barnsley A&E. On last night - Kipling factory On soon - Springtime on the farm at Cannon Hall. Makes a change for positive tv, they're normally asking some scroungers about brexit.
Good to see programs like this - my uncle was killed at Lyons as it was back in the 80's so couldn't bare to watch that one
Also had an interview with headteacher/parents at a primary in Cudworth, with Dan Jarvis about town centre/Glassworks, a fashion shop owner in town and someone running a volunteer network from a shoe shop.
I have just got a Firestick last week and watched that. Quite enjoyed it. I hadn't realised we'd started playing on Good Friday so earlier on. Also - on a different note, I was most impressed when I said "Barnsley" into the remote and it found Kes. Made my day.
Was flicking through the channels the other night and an early Last of the Summer Wine was on. (S01E04). They went to visit Cannon Hall. Nice to see it as it's a regular place of visit for my family.
Ended up watching a few others. So sad that the founder of Spurs ended up in the workhouse and in an unmarked grave.
