    6004 despite my earlier post about it being a difficult decision. I had a chat with my son earlier and he wanted to renew. Despite being born in the Midlands he loves BFC and also said he enjoys the time he and I spend in the car travelling and at the match - that swung it.

    Over the years I've spent a LOT of time travelling and sort of miss the long distance trips to matches. It's only 46 miles home now but when I was living near Salisbury it was over 200. Obviously I missed a lot more home games than I attended, but tried to make up with more away trips to the southern grounds.

    I used to enjoy the BBC Sports Report coming up at 5pm with the reading of the football results by James Alexander Gordon and then listening to the reports from around the grounds. If we were really lucky we got a mention! Then there was the phone in to Alan Green - if the phone calls were boring you could guarantee Green's answers were not so. Now I have my iPhone tuned into Radio Sheffield and get home just after P or G finishes at 6. It's good in a way but not the same as that slog back down the M1/M5 to wherever I was living.

    Been trying to get through on the phone for hours today and yesterday to renew my daughter's ticket. Lift music for a couple of mins then cut off. Hopefully it'll be a bit quieter tomorrow and no bugger nips in and takes her seat!

    Mine's done online though. Yooouu Reds.
