Over 6000 season tickets sold to date that’s not bad considering we don’t know what league we are going to be or whether we can attend games

Shows people have saved a bob or two by not going to the pub and p1ssing their money up against the wall.

Where's that money go if we are relegated because I can't see there being any football in League 1 and 2 for the foreseeable future. Especially without crowds.

6000 plus STs sold is a phenomenal effort in the circumstances. I reckon if the club extended the early bird offer up to the end of July we might even reach 8k.
    Come on BFC....do it.

Agreed. Extend it until the end of the season.

Brilliant effort to back the club. Let's hope the owners appreciate it.

I think we should appreciate what the clubs done, most haven't even changed their pricing. £400 at Donny.

That's pricey for Donny but I suppose their new stadium needs paying for!

It will cost a lot at The Arsenal Of The North, to be fair.

Same place as it does every season. To enable the club to survive.

Reckon we will start new season in September with crowds as normal. Certainly the pandemic data suggests levels will be very small by even the start of August.

It goes away in the summer but will be back in autumn/winter which is why I can't see full crowds back in sports stadiums before a vaccine has been widely distributed sadly. Maybe a percentage of fans might be allowed back in if they deem it safe I suppose

Got a feeling that's what the Oxford vaccine will be but still better than nothing. As long as it's safe to have and it makes sure if you do catch it you probably won't know about it and won't die then that would be enough for now. People have a flu jab and still get flu but the symptoms are easier to cope with. This will be much the same. It would be a miracle if something worked on only since January is safe, stops you from catching Covid and stops you from passing it on.

I love your optimism mate but there's no mention in that article of when a vaccine might actually become available. It talks about the prospect of facing next winter without one, to which the Cambridge prof says she hopes they can improve on that timeframe. It's all ifs buts and maybes at the minute

It might take the edge off it, but it also says that it may not work on older people with weaker immune systems, those are the ones who are gerrin clouted most.
    Still owts better than nowt.
