By far the best communication we've ever heard from this board. If we are owed Angus Mcdonald money still then why would we sell them another player. It is very clear from the statement with all the situations we've brought up that it wouldn't be in their best interests to overturn the Wigan situation as we'd give them hell.

Well said Barnsley FC, hopefully this will help the FL owners move the EFL in the right direction

I've been very disillusioned with our owners and very critical of them. This statement is a huge step forward and as a result of the admittance of some errors in particular I already feel more positive toward them. And I'm delighted we're so forthright about the need for a reset in integrity in the game. Thank you and well done.

They have done very well with their past two head coach appointments, finally allowed in some experience in January with the signing of Sollbauer and are now openly admitting making mistakes which we hope they learn from and don't repeat.

    Can't say fairer than that.

That's a very encouraging step forward, particularly the acknowledgement of mistakes made. It's the most honest and positive communication I've seen from the ownership and it is very much to be welcomed.

Assuming the fee issue relates to Angus, then I'm surprised we didn't make the Wilkes negotiations conditional upon it. The football authorities are big on football creditors being honoured so I'm also surprised it's still apparently unresolved. However, more than anything, I welcome the fact that I can query the situation due to us having had some tangible information out of the club in the first place.

That is a *great statement* - I mean, we tried to pay them less but they said no ... but other than that ...

It's really worth reading the Twitter comments for this statement. Quite heartwarming.

I think with so many Leeds fans on that tweet and elsewhere saying we were the best side they played this season, is praise enough. No fear!

Brilliant statement, we need to back it by getting an experienced spine to the team & I reckon we could to some damage next season, without throwing vasts amounts of money at it, I reckon it's doable.

And the competitive balance can be partially-restored by relegating Wigan.

Once the example is made of them, get at the Pigs, Derby and Vermingham.
