Wow takes that long for the panel to decide weather a club who have over spent for years be given the punishment for entering administration.

Next Tuesday at 4pm spells out to me that Wigan have got them debating. If it was cut and dry the decision would have been made immediately

I’m guessing the Derby decision, no doubt as spineless as the Washday one, will be released on Monday then.

Wigan decision on Tuesday and then pull down the shutters on the league season and ignore all criticism during the brief offseason.

Maybe they're just deciding if they want to enforce it this season or next season like they have done with Sheffield Wednesday. As it stands right now, any decision that keeps us in the league is fine with me.

How can they enforce it next season its different to Wednesday's cheating. Wigan overspent lost millions each year ended up in administration the rules state automatic 12 points deduction for entering administration if they get it quashed give pompey, bolton, rotherham etc plus 12 next season

It’s either upheld and quashed or punishment stands imo .
As far as I understand it the rules don’t allow for anything else on this charge .

Surely it can’t be deferred - the rules are clear on deduction this season or next season (next if they’d finished in the bottom 3 without counting the 12 points) - the appeal must be either squashed or the deduction stands! If squashes, it’s a travesty!

If we stay up, my sympathies are with Charlton - they’ll suffer cos of the delay in dealing with Wednesday- Charlton have some financial problems & aren’t ducking it - losing 6-7 million could end their club! So wrong!

That's how I interrupted it too.
The sanction for going into admin is -12 if Wigan can prove that under the circumstances that is unjust then they won't be docked any points. If they can't, then its -12.

Going to change our club massively too if the appeal is overturned in Wigan’s favour.

The rules do allow a lesser deduction.

It can’t be like wednesdays. They can only reduce, keep or reinstate the -12 points.

Can’t see how they reduce points . As it will reward them going into administration.

They do. But that makes no sense. As someone posted yesterday how can you have a bit of force majeur. Either it was the reason they went into Admin or it wasn’t

That’s not to say they won’t do something that daft and reduce the sentence 9 points wouldn’t surprise me at all

Who is to say that it will be Tuesday 4pm? Someone from Wigan has twittered or some thing and suddenly it’s written in stone

Surely the brief is as simple as was it force majeur, yes or no.
If yes, no punishment, if no punishment stands.

Not for me, they kept the SW decision back, they’ll know already.
