Listening to DB throughout the game was a real pleasure on a disappointing afternoon. He still refers to us as "we". Legend.
I post this because listening to him do his post match summary also offers a massively stark contrast to all the negativity on this forum.
It was almost inevitable that the usual moaning would start when we lost a couple of games but I still find it incredible that, as fans, some people can launch into the manager and the players with so much intensity after just two games.
The old 'heroes to zeroes" cliche was never better said than on here - right here right now.

I get all that but, the facts are starkly obvious, we are a pretty team to watch, pleasing on the eye but we have absolutely no plan B, the goals for column is as bare as Boris Johnson's cranium, let's not forget we are a Championship side due to another clubs nefarious dealings and punishment, we have been given a wonderful opportunity to push on, as I said in another thread losing becomes an habit hard to shake.
We can only hope the owners learn from previous mistakes and give this manager the players to compete at this level, we cant afford to keep running marathons hoping a sprint finish will see us over the line.

Was just one of them games today where unfortunate circumstances have dictated the game, it doesn’t make me think we’ll be winless for months. Can see us getting a result against Coventry!

He kept putting the kiss of the death on everything today did Barnard.

30 minutes in praising Helik and the ref. 10 minutes later, a massive mess up involving both which has completely cost us.

Good to hear from him though, I like the ex reds on co-commentary.

I know sometimes it can’t be helped but some of them run the risk with it. We all know praising a ref is risky business!

The season certainly is a marathon but, it would definitely help if we weren’t running backwards!

Slagging refs off never seems to have opposite effect.

    Reading Manager:
"The first half was very difficult for us, we played against a very good team, very organised, very intense...."

Hes not wrong. Until the sending off there was only one team in it. However take on board the need for more inclusiveness up top.

Nicely put. I still think this team has a lot of potential with just a couple of small tweaks myself. Also, I think you were too complimentary about Boris' cranium.
