As far as I'm aware there is no representation from the BAME communities on this site. Should steps be taken to rectify this and make the BBS more inclusive?
To be fair, I don’t believe Gally hand picks his members based on equality figures. The common theme, for representation, is BFC whether that be man, woman or child, gay, straight, black, white or other.
most recent figures I could find puts Barnsley 96 percent white and 4 percent BAME compared to UK total of 80/20 split,we have an higher percentage of OAP than rest of UK with 20 percent compared to 18 percent, must be the air or the East stand pies
Banning Nudger was a good start. But speaking seriously it's a forum where nobody knows each other's skin colour. Even if it turns out we are all honkeys what can admin do about it? Stand in the centre of Tarn pestering BAME folk to join?
how do you make a fans forum inclusive, if no fans are BAME,from threads I have read anyone is welcome on here
He's been having a right rant at admins on that other forum, not taking any responsibility at all for his own actions. Not really been on it before but seems to be a load of blokes trying to sound as Barnsley as possible, which isn't annoying in the slightest.
I like red taff, he sent me some kind PMs ,but it does have a chance of going pear shape this thread, lets hope it stays on the right path
I didn't see what happened with it in the end but he deserves what he got, a few baited him a bit but that's what happens when you try to intentionally wind others up i'm afraid.
Agree he's a good lad he pm's me too and is very supportive of me and my family. I'm hoping same mate
do or have anyone a BAME friend who goes to the game with them,or sit next to anyone who might identify as BAME,one lad sat next to be at home to Wolves once, but he did not speak all game and was wearing a washed out old gold jumper,so think he was an away fan, bought a pie at half time but think it was meat and potato
