    No need to rush, we need the right one in. Birmingham are set to pay 2.5 million for Kayden Jackson. That screams panic buy to me.

    I admire your optimism. Not because I disagree about Woodrow and Chaplin per se; it's just that the way we set up probably means that no-one will 'score plenty'. I suspect that 1-0 or 0-1 will be the most frequent result this season.

    What it probably means is we've agreed terms to sell one of our current strikers and want to ensure we get a replacement in before we let ours go for peanuts.

    I know he’s not a striker, but I thought one of the two might have been Thomas, worth decent money and can’t get into team.
