Now the dust is starting to settle we should try to take a measured view of 'Hecky's' departure. If you sign a contract then both parties should stick to its terms for its duration. This is integrity. The only get out is if either party breaches the terms of the contract. If in 'Hecky's' case he signed the new contract on the basis that the Club was aware of his pending exit (and they included a 'buy out' clause) as a means of the Club receiving compensation, then he can be forgiven. If not he can't.

Bloody hell George Kerr. I saw a blue box with 'GEO' in it and thought my beloved George Spicer had returned.
    No offence meant like...
And, er, yeah, that above you wrote, all good.
    Sorry

One of the terms was that if someone paid £500k (or whatever the official amount was), they could end the contract. So as far as I know, all parties held to the terms of the contract.

I spoke to my mate today for the first time since last weekend.

His balanced view was "I was flabbergasted! First thing that came to mind was, why would anyone want him?"

    His view concurred with mine

Yep came home to Barnsley tonight and first discussion was more around the fact that Leeds wanted a failing head coach.
