He does most games it's just ignored because he doesn't do a lot of tippy tappy backwards passes that sky sports have told us all the good players do.
Probably doesn’t have the efficiency in passing to play the Williams/Gardener role but he offers us something different, in a physical and burly way and makes runs into the opposition third. Definite starter.
My view on Potts has been that he has been made a scapegoat at times. Every mistake jumped on while others have been given a easier ride at times. Is he a good championship player? I'd say not at but that goes for the majority of our squad. The variations of midfeilds we have sent out this season have been some of the worse for years, or maybe it just feels that way after being spoiled in 2016. But he is no worse than any of the others we have and i for one like his mentality he attempts to move the game on and go forward.
I like Potts. Like Moore he’s a nightmare to play against. Now we have more quality in the side he’s much more useful. Slowly but surely we’re getting there. Next step is to get a ball player starting infront of Gardner or Williams.
