Other than any game you've been to where the Reds were involved in , which
game you've ever attended holds the best moments/memories for you and why.?

When living in Australia I went to see Australia v American Samoa. It ended up 31 nil. Pretty Surreal.

World cup in Japan/Korea was memorable more for zipping between the two on mega fast trains than owt.

Donny's last match before they went non league it felt like the death of summat.

The only other games I've been to are 2 England games at Wembley. Neither of them were particularly memorable. The first one was against Belgium in 2011 and featured a young useless nobody who couldnt hit a barn door and went by the name of Eden Hazard! And the most memorable thing about the Latvia qualifier I went to in March was seeing young Bradley Lowery as the mascot, god rest his little soul. :(

Probably a double header at the marvellously named Wankdorf Stadium in Berne in 1982. Pre season tournament Grasshoppers v Roma and Young Boys v Atletico Mineiro. It was straight after the World Cup in which I think Brazil were the finest team I've ever seen. I think Falcao and Cerezo were playing for Roma and Eder for Atletico. I was massively into all things footy at the time and it was a thrill to see them play that night.

Remember a mascot race at the Don Valley Stadium between Miller Bear & Sheff Utd's pirate thing! (Rotherham vs Burton)

Been to a few Chesterfield & Rotherham games as their the only real local teams with fans I can stand.

Motherwell 6-6 Hibs. Hibs were 6-2 up and Motherwell ended up missing a penalty too.

Oh, and it was only a tenner. Went along because it was Jim O'Brien's last home game for Motherwell, and my ex was his cousin.

The wonderful Hungarian team at Hampton Park, Glasgow. A win for the Magyars 4 - 2 over Scotland. An honour to watch the brilliance of Ferenc Puskas, Sandor etc. easily overcome Tommy Docherty & Co.

Sheffield weds v West Ham 1966 ish. Not sure if it was just after world cup but Bobby Moore, M peters G Hurst and I think Clyde Best was playing and Joe Corrigan but not sure memories not all that these days.
Spurs v Coventry ,in the Spurs end was sure the cup would be paraded at our end.

Weds v WBA the day reds were beating Plymouth I think , 4-1 and it was abandoned
Went for my Weds supporting mate,( from Barnsley )Weds lost 4-0 and Blunt scored the fourth.
It was priceless the look on my mates face but I couldn't gloat too much at the game as we were in Kop and he said he'd shout I was a dingle if I did. He got it when we got back to. God's Town though.

A special mention for the Belgrade derby too. It was my first football match outside of the UK and Germany. My eyes were so busy watching what was going on in the stands with the two sets of ultras. Never seen so many coppers at a match either, literally lining every street around the stadium for miles. Amazing experience.

The stadium emptied at 6-2, then at 6-5 they were all trying to get back in again :D

West Brom v Woking in the FA cup

West Brom at the time were a championship club or whatever the 2nd tier were called in 1991
Woking were a confecence side. I was living in Woking at the time so did the part time fan thing and went with a couple of mates to West Brom for the match. Despite looking the better side Woking conceded first and we all prepared for a dissapointing afternoon, but no Woking played them off the pitch and deserved the comfortable victory they had

Been to see Barcalona play twice at the Nou Camp

The first a fairly poor 1-0 win over Malaga in which Thomas Vermalean was the only scorer.

The second was the last game of this season which they won 4-2 after being 2-0 down to Eibar. Messi bagged a brace and missed a Pen, the second goal was a thing of beauty.

FA cup semi final 1973 Sunderland v Arsenal, Charlie George throwing a paddy at 2-1 and the Sunderland fans who had most of the ground singing "Just because your losing"
The semi the year after and a certain Malcom Macdonald destroying Burnley.

Saw City tonk United 4-1 in the Manchester derby back when City were crap. Jon Macken scored for City, the atmosphere was absolutely electric, and my mate who's been a die-hard city fan for years was absolutely buzzing.

Seen quite a few memorable games involving Lincoln, including away at Donny in the season they dropped out of the league. Very strange and sombre. Donny were like a dying animal.

However, the non-BFC match which sticks in my mind above all others was a "professional" game in the USA in 1992 between the Tampa Bay Rowdies and some team from Miami. There were about 3000 people there, most of whom were British holidaymakers who'd clearly gone for a laugh. There was a commentator who doubled up as an ad-man. Every time a chance went ballooning over the bar, he would shout "too high!", before launching into another promotional spiel about a local business. "If you're needin' a bite after the soccer, get yous self down to Huuuuungry Haaaaarry's! For the best burgers in the bay!". Other highlights included a very loud American granny in front of me, who kept demanding that Miami's players should be sent off "for insubordination", and unfeasibly large pizza slices on sale for $2 a pop. What about the match? Absolutely the worst supposedly serious level football match I have ever witnessed, and that includes Sleaford Town v Lincoln City reserves, Grantham Town pre-Martin O'Neill, and Barnsley losing 1-0 at home to Mansfield. It was basically Ricky Hill, ex-Luton and England, but aged about 45, surrounded by a load of blokes who somebody had found at the local pub (Waffle House), and asked them if they fancied a kickabout. I once played a match at Uni without sleep straight from a rave, and I swear I was no worse than any of the 1992 incarnation of the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Fulham v Liverpool in a league cup second leg match many years ago. Liverpool had won 10 (ten) - 0 in the first leg. I remember reading in the programme about ticket arrangements for the next round, should Fulham get through.

A cold winters day back in the mid eighties. Our Saturday pub league match was called off due to a frozen pitch so we (as my brother is a Barnsley/Everton fan) decided to go see Everton play at the Fowls. I went on the Kop as my mate was a Wednesday fan and I knew he was there...oh what a good decision that was. Everton were 5 up at half time :D Never haveI seen a stand empty as quick when the 5th went in. I had to hang around to hear all the moaning....it was worth it ;)
