it's well documented that Huddersfield want Yids, does Hecky play him & show how good a player we have, stoking further interest & a possible higher bid, or does he bench him & not showcase his talent?
Can we 'realistically' keep him, for me he is the best player at the club & was the best player on the pitch 2nd half v Coventry.

Will he sign another deal, will the club do what Hecky said they should & give him the money he deserves??

Ge is our player until Huddersfield or whoever make a bid we can't refuse so why not. Could do with another full back imo with or without yids (bree on loan?)

Bree isn't fit to lace yiadoms boots. Would be a huge backwards step to replace one of the best fullbacks in the league with an injury prone defender who struggles to defend (but is young and fast which automatically means has 'potential')

Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of andy yiadom but at this level bree is a decent laiker imo. But will just stagnate ar villa if he isnt getting game time. I know he only wanted to leave oakwell for regular football but it hasn't worked out.

Agree ST. Looking at Villas transfer listing the estimate for the deal to buy Bree is put at £2.98 million.
He has potential but as you say he is not very good at defending. I don't think Villa will let him out
on loan anyway but if they do , personally I don't think we'd take him.

The old addage.....if yids doesnt play tomorrow expect him to be gone next week......or yids plays a small part tomorrow comes off early so he can wave good bye that said if its a done deal already the latter wont apply ...mmmmm thats sounds about right by the sheds reckoning....lol

Play him. If he has a blinder Huddersfield will have to up the ante to get him. If he has a shocker he more than likely stays here. I honestly think we will be gone before the end of the window. Huddersfield or elsewhere.

Bree is still very raw in my opinion. As much seemed clear before his move to Villa. Going forwards he can be a useful asset, and his crossing was improving game upon game. Defensively, I personally felt Bree had a lot still to learn.

I feel Yiadom is ahead of him at present on both counts.

Whether he plays or not today, nothing should be read too deeply into it. Jamie Clapham said last week that all players will play roughly the same amount of games through pre-season. Considering Yiadom didn't start vs Coventry, I'd imagine he'll be in the lineup today.

Play him & tell him to go out and play the worst he's ever played & score a couple of own goals. That should see them off!

Yes because the scouting network at Huddersfield consists of one man with a *** on watching their games exclusively, best keep yiadom on the bench cos he will have no idea what he plays like in that case!

Scouts are watching players all over the place and they make recommendations.
If Yids plays today and has a blinder then everyone at Udderfield will see how good he is in live action so I guess that would have more of an impact.

I think that he should play wide midfield. He's far too crafty and creative and skilful just to be a full back.

Unless anyone from Huddersfield reads this, in which case he's useless anywhere on the pitch.

I'd utilise my full squad play as many different players as I could. It's only a glorified training session

I definitely want to see him play today. It may be his last game at Oakwell for us after all.

If he does go though then it will be time to start seeing some of the money we got from Stones, Mawson, Hourihane, etc, spent on strengthening the squad rather than the bank balance.

Any potential club interested in Yids will already know what he is about, potential and capability. They will have had reports from competitive games where he has been specifically watched. Playing him today or not won't affect whether he will go unless of course he has an injury.
