    Sorry. I meant to say just the sort of signing I was hoping we would make. This is the type of player we need at Oakwell. I'm convinced he will be the missing piece of the jigsaw.

    His stats aren't overly accurate tho are they? Nearly half the 13 games involve bit parts/sub appearances in games.

    You can make stats sound as bad or as great as you like:

    - He's scored nearly one in every 2 games at international level
    - Liverpools youngest ever player.

    Granted I know very little about the guy and dont have a clue if he'd be good for the club - I'll let Hecky decide. However, when Liverpool saw something in him and Watford parted company with 4 million for a 20 year old there must be something about his game that is worthwhile.

    Conan can post whatever he likes (I couldn't care less), but he appears to just slate potential signings, contracts, anything club related without offering an alternative. I've asked him before who we should sign and all I got was a League two striker with 8 goals in 28 games.

    I have no issue with Conan being a negative Nigel. However, if you have no sound alternative to whom we should sign then its going to grate on other fans.

    'Not him he's sh*t, not him he's no experience, not him he's got 1 goal in 4,231 games, not him he's lazy, not him he's not a target man'

    Not for me to come up with alternatives when I do not know the club's transfer budget or wage structure. I'm intrigued though - which League Two player with 8 goals in 28 games did I suggest? I'm sure whoever he is you are not using his stats to discredit him to suit your argument.

    He got 10 goals in 24 league games last season. That puts him 10 in front of Sinclair. He's also younger and fits our "strategy". What's not to like?

    Well without looking extensively it looks like he only got 7 *league* goals last year in 18 games and 8 in 29 in his *league* career. If that data is incorrect then fair do's - I'm not a Doncaster fan.

    Sinclair hasn't played at such a low level - so its completely impossible to compare their goal scoring stats.

    Based on your methodology we could say that Mandeville is 50 goals behind Ugbo (who is also younger). Whats not to like?

    I'm not a Doncaster fan. Nor am I a Liverpool, Watford, Birmingham or Chelsea fan. What's the relevance?

    Where did Ugbo score these 50 goals? They don't seem to appear in his stats, but just to make you aware this thread is about Jerome Sinclaire - hence the title.

    Whereas Sinclair will be 22 in September and does not have much experience at any level. More importantly, he is not our player and never will be - unless he turns out to be complete *****.

    I'll be honest you're contradicting yourself all over the show and making very little sense.

    1) Your goal scoring stats on Mandeville appear wrong based on Wiki. Looks like he scored less league goals than you quoted. I merely stated that I think your 10 in 24 league goals this season stat was wrong according to Wiki. That being said wiki has a tendency to be wrong on occasion. Hence me saying if the data is wrong fair do's im not a donny fan.

    2) Ugbo scored these 50 goals at U21 and 23 level. That was exactly my point. You compared Mandevilles goal scoring record to Sinclair which in my view is completely pointless - they've been playing at different levels. Its like comparing Mandeville to Ugbo.

    3) Your patronising 'this thread is about Jerome Sinclaire' is pretty comedy. Who's this Jerome Sinclaire you talk about?

    4) I'll be sure to remind you what the thread title is about next time you go off on a tangent.
