The OP was saying less than 24 hours ago that the squad was looking. Mind, he has slept and finished two bottles of red since then so no surprise if his memory is a bit hazy.

I bet there are quite a few that would swap places with him.

Constraints I'm afraid we haven't heard anything about a winger or strikers yet because they will be LOANS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BFC stop taking the piss. I'm not saying spend silly money but for Christ's sake let's compete a little bit

Probably most of the managers in the two lower divisions would gladly swap places with hecky.

Some of you talk like he's kept in a cage and fed cabbage.

That interview in my view was frightening.
Hence the posts I've made today about Ganaye etc.

Well course they chuffing would. It would mean that they wouldn't have to do all the hard work Hecky has done.

Chin up Hecky - the Accrington manager would have your job.

We're talking about a bloke that's getting £1000s 52 weeks of the year. Getting paid for what he loves doing.

It's a job I grant you. Hard work?

    Have a word with yourself.

So you don't think he put a lot of hard work in with the players to get us to seventh in the table? Ok.

Yo thickos I'm not on about Hecky I'm on about FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS !!!!!!!!!.Example Derby 30,000 crowds which equals approximately twice our turnover and they are chuckling money around like confetti. Were spending fu__ all in comparison.I for one am sick of this financial model.

Same as every other manager and set of players in the league. It's what's expected of them by fans and owners alike.

I'm not saying hecky is idle, or a bad manager btw, but let's not make him into some kind of martyr.

As I say, he's doing a job and getting well paid for it.

Well he's mentioned several times how he's looking forward to the challenges of the season. In all honesty, he always speaks in a calm, measured manner and even if we're doing well and never sounds particularly happy!

To quote Basil Fawlty: 'just because he's not siniging 'oh what a beautiful morning', it doesn't mean he's about to quit!'

I suppose you liked the finacial model and transfer system when we got promoted and signed/nurtured players like roberts, hourihane and winnall?

Its the only way we can compete, i would agree that we need to get smarter with it by longer term contracts and only losing one or two players for a profit per season.

What alternative do you propose then? Just for your information, Derby County posted an operating loss of £10 million in 2015, and over £14 million in 2016. It doesn't take a genius to realise that is not sustainable.

Our problem is lots of other clubs models include people with deep pockets.

I stopped liking it when we sold them all and didn't bother to adequately replace them.
