Not being funny mate, but it's always been the same way at Oakwell. Perhaps you might want to look at supporting a club with bigger attendances if that's what you want.

Backed by a very dubious Russian, who inherited a lot of money from his even more dubious father. Bournemouth could end up as an established top-flight club. However, It's just as easy to envisage the oligarch getting bored in a few years, and them becoming the next Portsmouth. Most lower division clubs who suddenly get a rich sugar daddy find themselves back where they came from sooner or later.

I think you have answered your own questions... we are not derby and do not have there 30 thousand crowds, financial backing and we have no inclination of going in to debt by making ridiculous expensive signings.

What you call luck by signing hourihane, scowen, roberts, winnall, Davies and Yiadom i call it good scouting, due dilligance, good coaching and patience.

Mate, I don't usually engage in ding-dongs on here, but I take exception to being called "thick" by someone who writes English far worse than I can write in Russian, and indeed my six year old daughter can in both English and Russian. If you want to call me thick to my face, you'll find me in the Old Number 7 before the Reading match in December, drinking beer paid for with the money I earn from running a business where all the negotiations are done entirely in my second language. Which just in case I hadn't made myself clear, I speak far better than you do your first language, you ignorant little cretin.

We don't turn over that much and spend what we can afford. Not really sure what your argument is here tbh.

Improve your spelling and grammar before questioning the intelligence of other posters. Throwing insults around does nothing to engage people in debate.

I'm a manager, a leader, a mentor, a motivator, a team builder. I'm sure there are many of us from many different fields who partake on this board.
Every 18 months or so I start again team building, its the nature of a business.
You try to keep your strengths but the talented and ambitious will get head hunted or look to improve themselves elsewhere. My boss may come along and say, that bloke Joe, you've got in your team, he's amazing, I want him for Dave's team cos his is not as strong as yours.....and the team starts to dissolve. The ones who cant/ wont come up to scratch will be performance managed and end up lower down the food chain. But throughout all this, the art is in rebuilding whilst still surpassing our kpi's/ targets.
Point I'm making is, its in the job description of a manager to build successful teams, not build one and keep it forever, thats not gonna happen in any walk of life.
Do those of u who say he's gonna walk because he has to keep rebuilding really think Hecky doesn't acknowlege all this. It's probably what motivates him as a leader.
    Chill, we're in safe hands.

True. He didn't say that though. He said support a club with bigger attendances. Never mentioned an oligarch - Russian or otherwise.

Just listened to it. No concern. Have to say interviewer wasn't exactly full of life either.

As Hecky said, we are still short of numbers and we have alot of new players. With regards recruitment I got the impression that the next few additions will be key players and not just coming in as back up to make up numbers. I think recruitment so far has been excellent. No mention whether next few in will be loans or permenent but that we needed at least 4 before the season starts.

McBurnie rumour won't go away? Potts? Jason Lowe x-blackburn utility player? Conor Mahoney Loan?
