    We knew the team will take time to gel. We always lose the opening game. We lost by 2 goals away from home.

    I'm not "happy clapping" and saying everything is going to be fine, I'm just saying it's far too early to be proclaiming doom.

    have to be concerned by the defence.

    Without Robbo then McDonald looks shaky, and if you then partner him with Jackson then it's not a championship defence in a month of Sunday's.

    Need Lindsey back quick (and no guarantee he'll hit the ground running but looks more competent than Pinnock) or a CD signing sharpish. Preferably one with experience.

    The Pinnock signing seems increasingly strange. Surely we haven't paid serious money for a fourth choice CB. I fully expected Jackson to be parked up and for Pinnock and Lindsey to be fighting for a starting spot alongside MacDonald.
