Could have had a easy 2-0 win and there would have been question marks. With that today we showed that we could battle and work hard for 90 minutes tonight.

    Thought Davies was brilliant

Jason McCarthy showed me why again I could care what happens to Andy Yaidom. He's so much better than him it's whatever from me.

Bradshaw again. The guys a different creator when he plays up on his own. All this he can't play on his owns utter bs. Not sure if he got that goal or not.

Good to see J bird get on

Hedges. Why did Heckingbottom leave him out so long. Going forward he's a natural left footed option, bizarre.

Cause for concern. Centre backs at times for me. We need that dominant figure at the back. Left back for me, Fryers can't come back quick enough.

We leave the midfield open at times. Williams just wants to win the ball back. Sometimes he's got to think of the bigger picture. 40 yards away from goal isn't the time to be pressuring, just sit back and get a good shape and they will not beat us.

The bigger pictures a win and another week towards that international break and getting some much-needed talent back.

Agree with most of that apart from the comment about PH not playing Hedges last season. Maybe he thought he wasn't ready like Mourinho with Myktarian last season (I believe you made this point yourself in another thread) Perhaps the delay allowed him to come up to speed, full fitness and a hunger and determination to keep his place. Hecky done a simular thing with Moncor and now Mallan. Great management

I thought he was good tonight. The formation away from that stupid 442 allows him to get higher up the pitch at times. I think the 433 allows at least was of the wingers at a time to be right up there at the opp's back line. Ipswich and now Forest playing 532 it meant he was pressing a cb which is perfect for me and means he doesn't have to do the defensive work which lets him down at times.

    Didn't we play 4-1-4-1?

No. No team would use that. Far too flat.
    .push wide men high. Posative.
Moncur or Potts would like to get into a defined an role. Both share it which makes it more difficult. Negative

No team, apart from us then?

This was how we lined up?
Joe Williams in front of a back four, Tom Bradshaw in front of a midfield four?
