The kid is soft as *****. Can't pass, can't defend and certainly can't shoot.

Potts was our best player. By some distance.

Apart from our resident hardest worker - Davies.

Potts was poor too. They both offer absolutely nothing. Potts is idle as ****, he doesn't do anything. On the rare occasion he does get in a good position he just balloons it over the bar instead of laying it off a player in a better position.

Hammill was tripe. Potts, as mediocre as he was, was the only player who actually passed it regularly to another Barnsley player.

And believe me I've thought Potts was tosh in the other games he's played in.

All opinions but Potts looked okay imo second half he just seemed to piss keep the ball a little too long at times when he could have played another man in. Pinnock almost cost us from the corner with slack marking defence looked poor at times. Williams was supposed to be a strong midfielder who protects the defence he did none of that... yeah the defence is bad but dave Bassett used to say we defend as a unit we did not do that weak as piss in midfield and defence...

Williams absolutely awful. Must have been seeing things today because as times his passes were yards away from barnsley players, even short passes.

Potts just constantly takes the wrong option.

Midfield today not good enough, but remember the lad is raw and only making his 5th senior appearance. How many young lads have we seen turn it round after a poor performance. Games good and bad will build experience. He'll come good, was 1 of 10 who has a very bad day.

Williams may have been poor today but he contributed well to Tuesday's three points. He's a very good footballer, let's cut him some slack and back him to find his feet as opposed to calling for him to be ousted. Koeman certainly rates him as a defensive midfielder and that's coming from one of the best defenders that I've ever seen. I'm more than happy to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Grafted his jacobs off on Tuesday. Probably the first experience of such an intensive match followed by another in his short career to date. Happy to cut him some slack.

    What's Moncur's excuse?

Not one player seemed to be awake to loose balls today imo ,apart from the fact we couldn't pass water every loose ball was picked up by piggies
We weren't confident on the ball apart from Hammill who either had little or no options in possession or ran into a wall of defenders.
McDonald "why" ugbo, potentially good player but needs backup.imo
