Hecky has revealed that Yids failed his medical because he's got a 2 mm stress fracture in his back. One or two of our players were spineless today so Yids might well have done better even with his injury.
Either or would have got more tackles in and given the ball away less I thought he was a united player at one point
I wouldn't have played him. Neither McCarthy nor Pearson deserved to be dropped after Tuesday and yids needs to re- integrate and knuckle down and show his commitment to the club before he's to be considered.
I would think they will have to give it time to heal. Might even need surgery.? Unless somebody wants to take a punt on him, sounds as though he is going to be with us until either his contract expires or he decides to take up the offer of a new one. If he recovers and gets back to his best, it's likely he could feature for us at least until to the end of the season.
I'm not a doctor but I can't see how he can play with a stress fracture in his back. Interestingly Wagner actually said that the deal was dead in THIS window. I suspect Huddersfield will be back in for him in Jan, offering a lot less money. We've been very unlucky with this one.
Don't all our players want away? If a premiership club came in for them any would be happy to go. We market ourselves to players as a selling club who will further your career and not stand in your way. We can't whinge when players buy into this philosophy. Yiadom if fit is one of better players. We are struggling. It would be daft not to play him.
Slight difference Yiadom came out in the media seeking the move before the end of transfer window he should have taken a leaf out of Hourihanes book and just go on with his dealings in silent. Secondly many of said he's looked a shadow of himself anyway so far this season. Hecky would have put him back in if he thought it was for the best. He didn't.
It's a weird world where we think that honestly stating your position is wrong. Given our defending thus far Tom Kennedy would improve it tbf. If we don't sell him and he's fit he will go back in the side.
