Honestly thought the club would have said something today

I'm so dissatisfied in the club. Communication and media wise with the fans it's a shambles.

Sheff United video put our team to shame. Open about the inn workings of the club. They didn't hide anything either.

It's bad when you get more insight from the Daily Mail than the club we all put so much time and money into.

On Transfer DD the Everton OWNER came out and was open and honest about what was going on. I've heard more from the Everton owner than anything from Oakwell in the last 2 month no joke.

 

What were you hoping to hear about out of interest?

 

Not sure what you want them to say. If you are talking about the transfer deadline day. We signed a couple of players.

 

The Everton owner probably has 50 media staff and others doing the work.

We dont.

So our staff use the effort on actually doing the work needed to get things done.

Don't for one minute expect you to understand that.

But if course it could be another classic trolling attempt

 

and an overdeveloped sense of entitlement ?

 

Yeah I'm shocked they haven't put a statement out to tell us what Hecky has had for his dinner this week. Sack the board!

 

So other than ticket info for the next couple of away games, an interview with McBurnie, last season's goals against Preston, some community program information and a player of the month vote, what exactly are you expecting the club to say and on what matter?

 

I wouldn't have said that about HT. Some others on here definately.

The film crew doing the Sheff Utd thing had asked loads of clubs for access. They wanted a club who'd be busy and scrambling around last minute. Picked the perfect club. Enjoyed watching it.

The other stuff doesn't require a response. But good to have you back on again.

You don't get the same notifications in real life as you do on Football Manager. It's piss poor.

A clubs tried to take our player in Andy Yiadom. It didn't go through. The club's not put anything about that on the site. external sites tell us that.

As you maybe aware or not Andy I like to compare what other football clubs are doing. Larger and smaller than BFC. I thought the video at Sheffield was a win for them. He spoke well today too about communication and whatever.

 

Just for balance, the media output from our club is the best it's been in all the 50 years I've been a fan. After the Sunderland match I had to rush off at the final whistle, so I missed the end of match celebrations. Didn't matter though, they were soon on iFollow and YouTube so I could enjoy them. I simply don't grasp how anyone can continually moan about something the club is so very good at. To me it reads like blundering buffoonery of the highest order. Or a hidden agenda?

 

I honestly think and hope that the main thing 'the club' have done today is continue integrating and organising the players on the training ground, closely followed by lots of hard graft on defending set pieces and developing our own corner delivery beyond Moncur's only two offerings against Sunderland of (a) doesn't beat the first man; or (b) slow and floaty to the 'keeper.

Hope the players are well up for it on Saturday. Couldn't give a flying toss abart owt else tbh.

(Although I'm sure the takeover is going through due, but confidential, process. Our media output as far as I can tell is quantitatively and qualitatively well above average and probably as good as any per £ spent on it).

PS - Shame if the positive mood of the BBS of late (seemed to be quite a few new posters whilst the OP was serving his latest ASBO) is going to be undermined by the return of his pre-pubescent bairnings. Can't he be put into solitary or summat?
