There's nowt young nudgery about it. It's a genuine question.

Yes but signing them doesn't mean sent off on time does it? It does tend to suggest it but has anyone actually confirmed what the issue was and that it was at Swansea's end?

Doesn't mean we didn't make a mistake. Not that I think it matters, people make mistakes, they don't mean to. Not sure apportioning blame does any good, it's not going to change things.

Was it linked somehow to Yiadom not going the other way?

Yes - I'm definitely with you on that one.
However - for some unknown reason - if you use words that have been used to start other threads then it is deemed to be discussing the same line of thought.
    ITS CLEARLY NOT THE CASE.
But because many on here can't see that (that's their fault not yours) - they complain - some of whom have obviously got the ear of Admin.

Why does anyone care why or how it happened?

    It's out of your control

    It doesn't matter

    Move on!

Those who don't learn from history and all that. It's fully in our control to identify what went wrong and stop it happening again. I still maintain swansea have retrospectively got the deal void because they didn't get yiadom sorted in time.

Sure that them agreeing to send McBurnie to us was dependent on Swansea signing Bony on the deadline day. The Bony deal was completed very late which meant we were left with barely any time to send the relevant paperwork to confirm the deal because Swansea had refused to release him till very late.

Considering we had held all of our hopes on him since May, it's disappointing whoever it is.

We will never know this - BUT - unless we finish at the top of the league - then no matter where we finish this season then there is going to be that burning question ...... how much higher up the league would we have finished if McBurnie had joined the club?

Listening to Heckys description of him and after watching YouTube clips of him - McBurnie is a massive loss to the club this season.

If we all agree that he could potentially be a massive loss could we all just SHUT UP about McBurnie now?
