Found this, not particularly an Ozzie fan but the guitar work by Randy is excellent. I give you Mr Crowley.
An amazing guitar player. Was a big fan as young aspiring guitarist . He was a good classical guitarist too. Shame he died so young
playing comes easier in the metal format. he would have been really great, given time. He even looked a bit like Mick Ronson.
Bizarrely only a few days ago I was revisiting the account of Rhoads' awful death - call me a cynic but I don't believe for a minute Ozzy was asleep on the bus when all of that was going on. Far more likely he was lining up to be the next in the air with Aycock, in which case he's a very lucky boy.
Saw Blizzard of Oz with Randy at Sheffield city hall whilst in my early high school years , day before went to see Gillan on Glory rd with Bernie Torme, me an Dek Parker did some gigs in them days , reyt laugh, brilliant guitarist
Bernie stood in for Randy, so Ozzy could finish the tour and did a sterling job by the sound of this. I would have been up for it too, but couldn't get time off school...
I had a little cleaning job with Ozzy and Sharon when I first moved to London, nearly 30 years back. I'll tell that tale, one day...
