Will it have American commentary? "And the Tykes lead by one to zero following Ugbo's headstrike from Hammill's apex restart."
Hi SFO Currently in Las Vegas. Full cable TV in our villa but just discovered ESPN3 is an internet only channel. We don't have the login details of the owner so can't stream through app or laptop. Gutted to be missing the 130 years celebrations as it is. Any idea how we can watch the game? TIA
Sorry mate. I don't know any other way of getting to ESPN3. I have access through my Comcast subscription. Some people have direct access to ESPN3 through Sling Box, Hulu, etc.
Bet365 is streaming it outside of the UK. Edit: don't know if you can access that in the states or not.
I'm a Giants fan and I live directly across from AT&T Park. Billy is associated with our rivals the Oakland A's across the Bay Bridge. However, I believe he his well thought of by fans, and in the game in general. The team are always competitive, but haven't made the World Series for a while. They tend to beat the Giants in Inter-League play too often though. A friend of mine worked on the Moneyball film. While she was there she made friends with people in the A's organization. After filming was completed, she managed to get a free box behind home plate, so I got an invite to watch the Detroit Tigers. Free ticket; free food and free beer. Most other people had worked on the film; transport, audio, visual, etc. Just thought I'd share an anecdote that means nothing to anyone, except me. The whole Moneyball approach of the A's does mirror the Tykes of recent years. I'm looking forward to his tenure, should it happen.
Looked at the Sling Box option. 7 day free trial. Never know if these things can be trusted though. Thanks for replying. We're actually making our way up to SF via LA. Any recommendations will be greatly received.
That's rad dude, I'm headed back to the states soon (Utah) but I have some family and friends in California and will be in San Francisco for a few days. Hopefully catching a game while I'm there against San Diego.
Good stuff! I was a Mariners fan while living in Seattle in the early 2000s and have fond memories of many encounters against the A's although Billy Beane has only come to my attention through this takeover speculation. I went to away games (or should I say road trips!) in Oakland and at the Padres but never made it to the Giants or the Angels.
