Patrick Cryne said in his notes that he had retrieved 5 off the FA Cup winners medals.
Does anyone know which 5 he has?
I worked with Bob Glendenning's Grandson a number of years ago and he told me the Family still had the medal. I put him in contact with the club but I left the job not long after.

Wilf Bartrop was one of the 5.

Do we know how many were handed out? 11?

I work with George Lillycrop's grandson who is also called George Lillycrop.

But he has no interest in football and says he still has the medals along with the shirt and boots.

Well he did last time i spoke to him about it.

Quite simply wow. In monetary terms they'll be worth a fortune. Surely some arrangement for a purchase could be made with the club ?

I would imagine one of the 5 is George Travers given that this auction was only a few years ago.

I used to work with George Utley's granddaughter who said her family who lived in Parkgate still had his medal - but that was about 2006.
