Thought it might be an idea to post a thread on advice on where to park private transport as quite a few seem to be driving down. I'll be included in that. I'd like dome advice on where is best to park and nearest tube station etc...... if anyone can advise then that would be great

Last few times we've been down we've hired a spot on a private driveway. For the JPT final we booked next to Canon Park and it was a doddle getting to and from Wembley.

For the play off we parked up a little further away because we stayed over but it was still easy getting to and from Wembley.

I think it was about a tenner to park but I can't be certain because our kid booked.

Yeah it's pretty easy to get to from the M1. I think it took us about fifteen / twenty minutes from the motorway.

Unfortunately I can't go on Tuesday (our kid can't either). I'll ask him if he can remember how much he paid.

He thinks it was about six quid but he's not certain. He hasn't got the details anymore but he says he just Googled it and he was able to pick the drive from a map.

There will be driveways available near most of the tubes on the Wembley lines.

PS. If you do use the tube pay by contactless. It's cheaper.

Paid £10 on someones drive for Johnstone's Cup but I didn't spend a penny on parking for the play off game. I found a cul de sac just off Marsh Lane in Stanmore, Malcolm Court I think they called it, and parked there. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to Stanmore tube station. A lot of the parking restrictions are only up to 6pm. A mate of mine parked at the station below Stanmore which I think is Cannons Park mentioned above.
