Are attendances really down that much for away games from Villa? Or is it because it's on TV? I remember it being packed when they visited last season.

Compared to the roughly 5,000 last year, you're looking at a ballpark figure of £100k missed revenue. No small amount for a single game.

They brought 3,737 last year on a tuesday night, they'll have roughly that many there again tomorrow. I think it's as much to so with sky as it is that they're doing **** and its not a new ground for them.

The revenue from the game being on Sky will be in the millions though.

I once drove a GVee coach to Highbury all the way from Leicester Forest service station with 103 passengers on it......I set off from bsly as a passenger and ended up doing Gordon a favor when one of his 2 coaches had a puncture. ....they found that the spare wheel was the wrong size when they attempted to change it....so I said stick everybody on one coach...fix it and we will see you later....we had the night in the king's head pub after the game ....lol
