    Why is this player getting so much stick,he's been one of the best defenders this season,he's a good old fashion no nonsense defenders.Some people on here can't wait for a player to have a bad game they can't wait to vent their spleen about a player or the team.This is how we will be all season we are going to get quite a few hammerings this is a young team who will make mistakes but are ultimately giving their all for this club against the odds so leave them all and enjoy the football

    If you're happy to give credit where it's due then surely the reverse also applies if you're being truly objective.

    Nobody wants anyone to have a bad game, we're all Barnsley fans on here.

    He got alot of credit for previous good performances, rightly so, but on saturday he had a poor game and ultimately cost us goals. He's a young player, obviously incosistent but we need better if we are to be a solid championship team. I definitely dont think he's a first choice championship centre back.... At this moment in time

    Haven't seen the Villa game yet. Thought he had a blinder against Preston and has looked steady in other games I've watched. Can we please give players the opportunity to develop?
