    M1 closed again between 36 and 37 if anybody is going anywhere….. police incident.

    Hope all are ok, if you’re going out and it’s not necessary, I wouldn’t bother….

    Made a rather flukey decision not to use the M1 tonight. Looks like I saved myself hours stuck in traffic. That said, traffic is also bad in Gilroyd, Wortley, Thurgoland.
    Never a good sign if both carriageways closed.
    Stay at home.

    Edit : sounding like someone on the bridge again. Hope everyone goes home safe tonight.

    talking of roads and to go o/t -

    - there's a chassis damaging stonking big pothole in the road just as you come past the top entrance to Locke Park towards town - supermarket on left - as you approach the junction with Park Road.

    I would guess that quite a few cars will have been damaged - and claims submitted to the council ??

    Looking at the map it suggests that the pothole has been reported and the council are aware. If it's still there you could put in a BIG claim. Barnsley council have already found themselves in legal trouble in the past for failing to deal with a pothole quick enough

    thanks ST - I will report it - I missed driving into it on my travels this morning but others will not have been so fortunate. It's massive! - in fact the whole road section near the supermarket wants sorting.
