agree I put 90%+ of the blame on those at the top but these tactics don't help.

Plus we have a set piece specialist with plenty of goals & assists last season who can't get a sniff at the squad.

Fair enough but football isn't an exact science, sometimes you just lose and that's it as **** as it is .

I'm not sure that any billionaire would think that, once acquiring such a sum, he ought to start divesting himself of it in Barnsley.

But if someone was scoring like billio upfront in a red shirt it might be a source of encouragement for our new benefactor.

Perhaps you could suggest a successor then who could do a better job.

Please just name one who could possibly do better for a team that had it's heart ripped out in January, and then had the other useful organs removed during the summer.

Just like that Arab doesn't want to divest his fortune in Manchester or that Thai man in Sheffield. No need to put the club down like that.

It's a smart move by Chien Lee. Take a club with little debts compared to most. Excellent youth academy, training facilities and mostly modern stadium already in place. Lead them to the promised land and roll in the huge profits. If all goes to plan of course.

A lot of money to be made from owning a football club.

Nope I can't and I shouldn't have to either because I don't want to see him out!.
What was wrong or incorrect though in my previous post regarding results being unacceptable and sentiment wont get us anywhere this season ?.

Yes of English Football, Assuming you meant Mallan. If you meant MacGeehan, he's on the verge of starting I think. He's been fighting to get fit and I'm hoping he will be a better option than Moncur or Potts and allow us to play another player up top.

Still asking a lot for him to do all Hourihane did straight of the bat.

    Hourihane wasn't an instant success.

Although it may pain some, he only started looking a classy all round laiker around Xmas in our promotion year.

Which was why we started ripping that league up.

Did you go or listen to the game?

I can't understand how many people are clamouring for 4-4-2 when we've been **** every time we've played it this season & all our good performances have come playing 4-5-1

I think the problem is more that we dont have the right player to consistently play that 1 up front well. Shame COG wasn't a few years younger because he would be ideal IMO. Apart from when he decided to become a winger ofc :D

in a game were had we actually gone for it we could have been out of site before the 93rd minute. Wolves were rubbish and there for the taking. yet we play one up front

Moncur was brought in as attacking goal scoring midfielder so why are we expecting him to be more defensive minded. Chuck him up front with bradshaw coz this is tripe one up its ineffective whatever the team.

Hourihane scored 7 goals in his first 10 games and won player of the month. What of the biggest myths around.

He wasn't; he was brought in to replace Hourihane and be developed into a more rounded player

Conor was always fantastic going forward, but defensively he started coming good towards the end of the promotion season yes

I was referring to Mallan. If a player from League 2 can be a success then why not a player from St.Mirren?

Think he'd bring more agility & pace to our sluggish midfield.

Had a tenner on him to
Had a tenner on him to score anytime for first 20 or so matches. Made a lot of cash of Connor.

But yeah like they say, he got of to an awful start lol
