If found guilty he'll probably be looking at more than a one-match ban this time?

It's about time some of these comedians with a whistle were brought up on charges. It doesn't matter what they do to affect people's livelihoods but question them and all hell breaks lose. It's just plain stupid.

I'm so angry about that. I'm assuming it's because he had the audacity to speak with the referee? What happens with the referee who made the wrong decision in awarding a penalty?

He lost control of his emotions. If he was a big name manager he would have been crucified in the national press. The coaching staff tried to get him away from the officials. He was told he couldn't manage from the technical area. He decided to ignore that.

The club better not get fined for his behaviour at the Den.

This over why he was sent to the stand and he or anyone else didn't know why.

Respect campaign ought to start with people earning respect to start with. Not automatically having it

Come off it, you'd be over the moon if the club got fined so you could have a go at him about it.

He is a big name manager. Heckingbottom is a reight score at scrabble.

Oh, and I disagree entirely. Obviously.

And when exactly was he told he that he could not manage from the technical area?

The guy needs to think what he's doing. He went off on one against QPR the game before too.
What was he expecting, the Ref to say. Well, Paul because you don't agree we'll make it 1-0 again?
for me at the time it was a pen, after watching it, it was a pen. Watch the ball. It's going towards the net. If Pearson had got the ball it would have been going to the corner flag.

Rules are the rules. He's not special or exempt to them at the Den. I or another fan acted in that way we'd have been arrested

He fired up the team, and took the anger out of the players hands and into his. We went on and won 3-1.

Great management by Hecky. Nice to hear the likes of Kent and Barnes coming from premiership saying he's a fantastic coach. He's really impressing premiership clubs with his player development skills.

Had it been zecki Friers making thst tackle, you would be telling everyone what a fantastic tackle it was and no way a penalty. I honestly don’t know why I approve your posts

Not many of us do, Andy! He’s a menace with the sole agenda to wind people up. How many chances does he get?

He probably knows a fair bit about football given the amount he watches, but any knowledge he does have is buried beneath a ton of irrational bias.

Agreed. It's like that shaking hands rubbish when they come out for the match. An handshake used to be a great sign of respect, but has been watered down to nothing by the FA by forcing people to do it.

We all deserve respect, but we have to earn it, and it's easy to lose it, as you've proven on several occasions. Stop slagging off our manager please, all it does is makes you look silly, and causes people (including me) to get angry.

How does pointing out him slagging out the Ref make me look silly? He should be telling the players, Don't give the officials a decision to make. I'd lke to see all the what did he say 12 penalty's again. wonder how many are for leaving the ground in area's like the last two.

You'd have a point, if your criticism were an isolated incident. It's the constant stream of digs at our manager that make you look silly. He's a good lad, not perfect, but the best we've had for many years. Show him some respect and support from time to time. We on here would respect you in turn for that.

Someone recently (might have been JC) posted a still of the tackle from a different angle ) I know stills can be deceptive, but it shows contact being made with the ball, it was perfectly timed (probably too perfect. Furthermore from the referee's position several yards behind the play, it would have been a guess as top whether or not contact was made since the attackers body would have obscured the ref's view. Therefore we have to conclude the referee went with the linesman, who I think, flagged instantly. It was he that should have got any flack, but since several replays from different angles resulted in different opinions you cant really blame him either. That said where there is any doubt, like a legal trial, the decision should be not guilty.
What is beyond dispute though, is you have a clear agenda and for some bizarre reason, choose to criticise the best manager I have seen at Oakwell in all the time I have followed Barnsley (late '60s) Please stop!!
