    Quite sad seeing my closed down local pub on the video that I have frequented since 1977/78 on there . Black Bull at Stairfoot. As for the song I quite like it, To my ears it’s sounds like a fusion of some early 80s stuff including Human league. Good stuff well done.

    I'm biased as I wrote the words and did the "singing" but this really is a great track, as are the other 2 songs on the 'My Left Hand Column' ep. Support your own, you know it makes sense.

    Yep it is sad as more closure of pubs and other establishments. Some establishments as depicted in the video still stay but I'm not sure give much hope.

    Cheers Matt, for those that haven't read the Studio page, this is a collaborative project and hopefully will be more to come.

    Also there is an ebook download with all 3 track lyrics on the link above. Theres also a Poem in the book, not featured in any of the songs that i would hope people enjoy reading.

    Love the video, this was my favourIte track on the EP. I have played it a number of times on my travels in recent weeks.

    The comparison with Human League is a good one in terms of the gritty northern edge of the lyrics / vocal against the warm synth backing.
    Subtle message behind the EP fits my world view certainly. BBSers give it a serious listen! It's nice this forum moves outside of the bubble of football at times. I feel enriched by people sharing creative stuff on here. I've appreciated support & feedback on the odd DJ mix I've posted from time to time. Great work Neil & Matt. Hopefully you'll get some exposure on both excellent music projects.
