Right this is getting a little boring now....you say ‘calling US ********’ a don’t see anyone else crying about my post, it’s a generalised forum where posters post what they feel is right, I’ve not signaled you out one bit, you for whatever reason think that I have, if you have then that’s your issue!

If you hate them as much as you do just because he’s supports a different team then yes you are sad very sad....is that better for you? I’ve said it without calling you a naughty word

Like I said it's the way football is now. I don't see what pride there can be in going out and buying success. I just think it's sad that this is what football has come to. Money has always counted, even going back a hundred years but never to this extent. Surely success feels better when you've put effort into it, overcome adversity, not just purchased it.

Makes it even worse if his family are Wednesday fans? How do you work that one out?

If, for example, you moved to Sheffield, had a kid and brought them to Oakwell. would you expect your kid to be called a traitor and expect them to be hung?

I have no idea of the circumstances of Mr. Shaw Lane, and frankly, I don't care, but this seems odd to me.

I can't believe that people are upset because the owner of Shaw Lane supports Wednesday. Why does it matter? So he changed a lowly non-league club's strip to blue and white; who's seriously that bothered? If that sort of thing really upsets people then Christ Almighty, relax.

I'm all for Shaw Lane doing well and certainly don't buy into this absolute nonsense that "a 200 crowd at Shaw Lane is 200 that could be at Oakwell" as Barnsley as a town is full of football fans that actively support Man United, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Doncaster Rovers, et al.

If Shaw Lane continue to progress then in my opinion it's a positive for the club, for the town and for Barnsley FC. In respect of the latter, if Shaw Lane reached the NL or L2 then why wouldn't we use that to our mutual advantage and send promising youngsters on loan there to the ultimate betterment of both sides?

Shaw Lane v Mansfield Town next round, November 4th. I think we're at home to Wolves then so it could be on the Sunday.

Home to Birmingham and could end up on TV with it being their first ever FA Cup proper game and as one of the lowest ranked teams left and with home advantage to a league club.

How many can Athersley's ground hold? Mansfield could possibly want to bring between 4 and 800.

Donny or Rotherham at home would have been better but it's a good chance to progress. The last time I saw Mansfield Glavin was putting a hat-trick past them. I wonder if they'll try to switch to Oakwell. I can see quite a few being interested.

Reckon it will almost certainly be on TV, and not on Saturday because having Mansfield and Birmingham fans in town on the same day isn't going to happen police-wise. Wonder if they'll perhaps put some temporary seating up to increase the attendance?

Some cracking ties in the draw: Hyde United v MK Dons and Charlton v Truro stand out to me
