Are they aware their clothes are too small? And can't believe the fans need boards to tell them when to chant!

Great entrance and amazing crowd for whats basically an inferior version of college rugby. Probably a lot better than the game itself

Nicked off football, American football crowds aren't normally like that college or NFL.

tbf If I was that far back I'd need boards to tell me what was happening in the game :p anD I can remember when fans over here had somebody stood on a crash barrier held up by their! mates directing chants

College football is just one tier below professional gridiron football over there. Colleges take on some students not for their academic abilities but for their sporting abilities. Professional clubs scout from college football every year. In fact professional football grew from college football in the 19th century. Both grew out of rugby and our football. College football isn't their equivalent of the boat race. Its development has always been close to professional football or what is now the NFL. And like rugby I can watch it without knowing the rules or what's going on.

W4nky Americans or not, it looks ace.

If Oakwell had a fraction of that togetherness, atmosphere, and sense of occasion it would be for the better.

To be fair Oxford and Cambridge take on some students purely for their rowing abilities - most of the Cambridge crew are usually studying land management which seems to be the token degree of choice
