    I knew about the Romans, Normans and Vikings but not sure where the rest come in. If you mean built as in the infrastructure, you could add the Irish and Americans to that. Can you give us a brief summary of how the Greeks, Iraqi, Israeli, Arabs, Germans and Indians built this country? Genuinely interested.

    India, provided major funding for the empire.
    Saxons were from Germany
    Iraq and Isael (Palestine) were once part of British Protectorates. We didn't govern them for altruistic purposes. That pretty much covers some Arabs too. You could throw Aden into the mix as well.
