Despite him playing for LJ I genuinely wish him the best of luck.

    La
    That made me laugh.

No worries for the opposition about early release and being hit on the break either.

Judged "Mr Gay UK" didn't he? Closest a current footballer has come to coming out since Justin Fashanu.

Don't get why gay footballers don't come out, hardly a stigma any more, they would be cheered to the rafters by the media.

I didn’t think this was common knowledge.

Led to believe it’s why an ex-manager didn’t like him

It's the same with straight footballers - can't understand why they don't 'come out'

He judged Mr Gay UK and so might be gay. Don’t care either way, his business.

Though he judged it as part of a ‘celeb panel’ that included Matt Wolfenden, dude off Emmerdale who’s got kids with the lass who plays Debbie dingle in real life.

Not sure it means that much.

I’d have loved him back here to push Davo for his place.

Would be quality. I'm sure Jack Walton is seen as the next number one but if Davies does suffer with an injury long term, it'd be a lot of responsibility for someone who's just been on loan at Stalybridge.
