What a barmy thought process of their board. Could have sacked him one match earlier and had the two week international break to bring someone new in. Instead they keep hold of him, they predictably lose to one of the best teams in the country and then they decide well we've lost to Chelsea he's got to go.
Wilder will be on a load of shortlists from now until the end of the season and no doubt will be on there's. Can't see them even touching Hecky unless about 15 turn them down....which int gonna happen.
Neither Wilder or Hecky will end up at a Premier League team this season. Too low key for these supposedly massive prem teams.
Their owner flew over from China for talks and to watch the game. Probably didn't want to sack him without speaking to him/taking in a game.
Big Sam has told Everton he's no longer interested because they only wanted to give him a contract until the end of the season. Watford Manager Silva has also withdrawn as well apparently. Regarding Albion, the word on the street in the Midlands is that Michael O'Neill is now the red hot favourite to be their next Manager.
Says it all about football. Last month he was getting a driving ban for being three times over the legal limit. This month he's seen as a ideal candidate to manage in the top flight. Think after that he'd struggle to get respected enough from the players. For example if a player turns up late for training and he has a go at them, the player is probably thinking well at least I can still legally drive, instead of thinking "must do better".
Getting rid of Pullis will be a big mistake, unless Big Sam is in the running. I'll be putting coin on them to go down if an inexperienced manager like O'Neill is appointed. His club management experience is Brechin City & Shamrock Rovers. Another club that thinks they have a divine right to be in the top half of the premier league. Maybe they should look at their 3 near neighbours in the Championship & drink something strong.
Can see where you're coming from but I think the manner of the performance was the worrying part. You wouldn't expect a Pulis team to be so soundly beaten even if it is by a good team
