Can’t see this posted anywhere (but could be wrong) http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-of-the-championship-and-hopes-for-the-future Decent read. He’s been good for us this year and I’m hoping he’ll keep it up.
Yeah, with how he’s played so far this season I’d definitely consider him again. He’s hardly going to get in the Everton squad either so I think it would be a good deal for all parties again.
Been our best player by a fair margin up to now. Pretty incredible for a lad who’d never played first team football before. I’d love him back but if he gets loaned again I reckon most of the league would want him
I reckon clubs may cotton on to the fact Loanees come here and play. A lot. Which subsequently means they improve. I'm still hopefull Ugbo will join the likes of Kent, Barnes, Williams, James etc who have benefited from the Barnsley loan model. Clearly a highly rated and talented player but just not shown it really yet.
I wouldn't be so sure. Especially if Everton are in the Championship next season, which is not beyond the realms of possibility.
If that was the case , he might consider signing for us on a permanent deal, as his opportunities would be limited at Everton, whilst he would know that he was wanted here & would have a genuine chance to progress his career
I guess it depends what he's more interested in, his career or money. Also, if they were in our league his opportunities there may not be limited at all.
I might be wrong , but I think if Everton dropped , the amount of cash they already have plus the parachute payments would allow them to throw money at getting back to the promised land & the chances for Williams would be restricted , but its all ifs & buts
