He didn't say owt new really. Just that Hecky is a local lad who loves the club and hopefully we can keep him and push on to the next level. Not much conviction in his tone though.

 

Probably be same outcome as all the players we,ve tried to keep.

 

We need to put him in 500k a year and require a huge fee if someone wants to approach in the future.

I wouldn’t read too much into that as I once heard PH being interviewed by Jonathan Buchan for Radio Sheffield where he categorically denied that we were close to signing someone. As soon as the interview was done we signed someone.

 

Quite right he's our biggest assett ,saying that half the clubs in this league could still blow 500k out of the water .

 

We can't compete in wage but let's make someone pay 3 million if they want him.
