Great performance from the 23s, could have been many more and can't remember the trialist keeper making a save.
Pinnock at the back made a difference and he was commanding in the air and composed on the floor.
Cavare didn't impress me (again), far too casual and gave it away plenty. He has the pace and physique to be a top full back but I've seen him twice now and been poor both times.
Will Smith had another good game as did Mallan and Wolfe who tormented the Hull defence in a more advanced role.
Browny still getting back to fitness but did some good stuff but still far off his best.
Wardle adapted to his wide midfield role and finished expertly with his left foot.
Ben Williams was my man of the match.
Best display by the team this season against high flying opponents.

Thanks for the report. What' you thoughts on why Mallan can't get a game with the first team ?

Thanks for that. Sounds like we hammered them.

I'd give Cavare a bit of time - he's basically having pre season now having been out for most of the last 2 years. Hopefully when's he fit again he will improve massively. Was considered one of the best prospects in France a few seasons back. It's a gamble but if we can get him fit and firing it may pay off in spades

To be honest I just think Cavare doesn't fancy playing in the 23s. Fryers was the same a few weeks back but has since done alright in the first team.
There must be a reason that hecky doesn't fancy Mallan. He's got good feet, a great shot but does disappear for periods of games.

Maybe a precaution in case of Bradders' car crash? Hope TB's okay though, we need him back and at his best tomorrow.

Reckon we'll see young Victor on the bench tomorrow. Thiam out potentially and Bradshaw touch and go.

Could be Ugbo starting and Victor as back up.
