Sick of turgid tactics, shocking team selections and embarrassing defeats against bang average sides like Derby week in week out. Potts, Gardener and Thiam from the start is ******* criminal judgement! Same old ***** that LJ used to turn out, only difference is people are blinded by sentiment just like with Woeful Wilson. Booooo
Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion but for balance and debate I’d like to read what you would suggest in terms of tactics and team selection.
Logged in especially to say; Who can do better? Any manager still has the total lack of quality to pick from. He’s still got the recruitment strategy to deal with that restricts who he can bring in. He’s still got a “strategy” that is executed regardless of impact as the “board” know the cost of everything but the value of nowt. I won’t give you any personal abuse but **** me it’s too easy to point the finger at Hecky. Oh and Bobby Hassell will be next head coach so...
Derby were not bang average. If you think that side was bang average I’d knock watching Barnsley on the head, they’re at a level we can only dream of.
Hecky should stay, he's not an idiot, and he knows what hes doing, not his fault the players are complete ***** every time they touch the ball. Unfortunately, as much as he's loved, it's Cryne and most of the board that need to go.
Signed the players within the budget he’s been given. Scowen allowed to walk out of the club. Roberts sold then regretted apparently . But yes, it’s always them in the shop floor that’s at fault.
Again for balance, it’s those “on the shop floor” that’s picking the team, setting the formation and making changes throughout the game. I’m not calling for PH’s head but to my mind we’ve dropped at least 7 points due to decisions, or lack of, made by PH during games. I don’t think that the finger of blame can be pointed squarely at one party, whether it be the owner or the manager.
I'm not into targetting individuals, be they players or management. But Derby are an average team just like 90% of the others in this league, which is thankfully a bonus for us.
Hecky didn’t faultless - but which manager is ? At a club with better support from above he’d have shone imho

Derby were nowhere near frightening in terms of what they produced today. Sometimes I sit there and know we've been outclassed. Today was not such a day. They were a bit better than us in general, and a lot better than us specifically when it came to finishing. Our "plan", as I've said before, should have exemptions for the two forward players that make the difference. We could have had 2 of the 6 forwards that Derby have hanging around in their squad, and our application, our effort, our home advantage would have made the difference today. We should play 4-4-2. With purchased class, no matter how much it costs, up front.

Apparently discussions have recently been held to give Hecky a pay increase and so it's unlikely that the Club are even contemplating sacking him.
