There was a robin flying about the west stand earlier aswell. That was quite nice to see.

The people near me are lovely! The woman next to me brought a blanket and as soon as I sat down she said she brought it to share with me and the guy behind always shares his sweets. And, of course, I've got the good Prince near me.

My bright spot was talking to the elderly guy sat next to me. I got a S.T. this season and from the start until yesterday we haven’t passed a word. After the second goal went in I said to him “This is going to get embarrassing” he made a grunt in reply which I could have taken to mean “Yes given the weakness of our squad and taking in to account our recent poor form we may struggle to compete against this quality opposition “ or “Shut the **** up”. Then just before the third goal went in he nudged me and said “Can you let me through I’m off” my reply was “R Sithi”. My dilemma is now that we have become so chatty should I take him a belated Christmas card on Boxing Day. To put the conversation into context my says I am the most miserable and unsociable so and so that ever drew breath.
