For me- Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Black Mirror, Happy Valley, The Fall, Bates Motel, The Crown, Last Tango in Halifax, Stranger Things, The OA, Peaky Blinders amongst others which I am surely forgetting.

    Anyone got any further recommendations?

The Sinner was good, Making a Murderer, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, some of the Marvel T.V. series were enjoyable, particularly Jessica Jones and Daredevil, also Lilyhammer is well worth a watch

So much good stuff on there, that I can't imagine I'll actually get through half of what I want to before I retire. And I'm 39.

Decent comedies to add to that - Master of None, Parks and Recreation, White Gold and Fresh Meat.

Add to that - if you're a music fan, The Get Down is absolutely essential viewing.

Shooter, American Horror Story. Also look out for Altered Carbon coming in 2018, which is based on a fantastic scifi cyberpunk book.

Will need to give Lilyhammer a chance, main character is brilliant in the sopranos

Master of None is brilliant and of course Parks and Rec, almost as good as US office

Wasn't that bothered with white gold, found it pretty mediocre

Stranger Things is amazing, can’t get enough of it!

I’m 4 episodes into ‘Dark’ now, it’s good so far. The dubbed voicing you have to try and ignore though.

I thought the first couple of episodes were quite bland, but then it got better as the series went on.

Series 3 is the best of the lot. The suspense is masterful, and I'd say that Jorge Salcedo is possibly the most brilliantly written character I have ever seen in any drama, ever.

I've just come across Breaking Bad, (I know! ). Watched all 5 series in quick succession, just couldn't put it down.

Trying to get in to Better Call Saul, but it's harder going.

Designated Survivor isnt bad, and for the Sci fi enthusiasts the new star trek, is in a similar style of the latest batch of films and fairly watchable.

For a laugh Plebs always makes me laugh.

I did exactly the same but unfortunately I binned Better Call Saul after a few episodes as I just wasn’t enjoying it and found it a chore to watch. It does have rave reviews though so it may be one worth perservering with.
