£6 a month is cheap as chips though. Just set up Otttv through the smart iptv app on my Samsung TV. No kodi involved at all.

Ditto on my LGTV, plus Terrarium on firestick. Rarely use kodi at all these days

I watch all my streamed footy on my Samsung phone. I've got the app livenettv.xyz which gives free BT and Sky sports, usually with very good picture. If you can stand watching a phone screen, to my mind it's much clearer than a fuzzy tv screen.

It's a pre 2015 afaik. EDIT: Its a UE48H6700 model. OTTTV provide M3u8 playlists that you can upload via a website to the Smart IPTV app through your TV's MAC Code. The Smart IPTV app costs a one off £5 to activate but im currently on a 7 day trial but im deffo going to activate over the next few days.

I does sound mega geeky like, but it's actually a 30 second process once you know what you're doing

There's an add-on called Deliverance which has had very good streams of the first two Ashes tests.
