Yes, this is just another Christmas thread, but with a darker twist... Unfortunately my Christmas turned out not to be so jolly this year, when a dear friend of mine unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on Thursday night. He was only 34, two months younger than me. I find it quite hard to believe that he's gone. Things like this really put everything in perspective and make you appreciate life, don't they? I know it's like the biggest cliché ever, but at least I seem to need a reminder every now and then. Yesterday's football results felt rather insignificant, although perhaps a win would have cheered me up a little. Sorry for the gloomy post, I just wanted to get this off my chest. Hold on tight to your loved ones everyone, and remember those that are no longer with us. Happy Christmas to you all! You Reds!
That's awful news Tomi. Hope you are otherwise well, not seen you on here for a while. Hoping for three points today!
Sincere condolences Tomi.. No matter what some feel or say. when all the hype is gone, football is still only eleven men kicking a ball about
That is horrible. Not a good time of year (not that any is) for that sort of thing to happen. Hope you’re well.
