I was happy when we signed him but I don't think he's good enough unfortunately. I would look for a new LB in January and play yiadom on the left in the meantime with Mccarthy at rb

Glad we signed Pinnock. I agree he's been poo recently, but in the words of John "He's not the only one". x

I agree to a certain extent but the midfield offers very little cover for the back line,to many 50/50 long balls played in the air which ultimately get returned putting pressure on the defence.
I will reserve judgement until we get new faces In.

Wouldn't get in the team for me til he starts to use both feet. No excuse, he' a pro footballer. To turn and blame a team mate for not getting a pass he shanked with his left rather than taking an easy ball on his right is just poor.

Poor player. We need to get better if we are to survive.

    Agreed.

It is also essential we hold on to yiadom

Flatters to deceive. At points he looks like Scott Golbourne, others times he looks ******* awful.

We aren’t in a position to carry anybody. As the OP says, no brainer to have Yiadom and McCarthy playing. McCarthy hasn’t really done anything wrong to be the one that drops out.

Fryers is always only a second away from a disaster.

I like Fryers and in my opinion he's proved he's good enough at this level with a few performances earlier in the season.

Sadly he looks jaded at the moment or not fully sharp. If Yiadom is fit, he should be over the left with McCarthy at RB at the moment.

Golbourne was 3 times the player that Fryers is.

Agree. 3 occasions in the first half he put Lindsay under pressure by refusing to use his right foot when Pinnock was the better option.

No ones expecting him to be two footed but at least get your right foot to the standard where you can pay simple passes

The weak link in the side for me. The only one who actually looks out of his depth.

Not to the extent that they blatantly refused to kick with their other foot. Fryers is tying himself in knots avoiding using his right foot.

Im not keen on him at all. Not at expense of McCarthy who also brings more out of hammill too. I sometimes wish we'd try five at back when goose is fit.
