I think we’re good enough to stay up and eventually will start picking up more victories to stay up. There are bad,bad sides in this division and I do think we’re better. So everyone post your bottom 5 here. 20th Reading 21st Birmingham 22nd QPR 23rd Bolton 24th Burton
Sunderland Birmingham Burton I think we'll improve although January additions will be key to that. At present I think all the teams below us are worse than us, and a couple above us also. Keep an eye on Wednesday too. I don't think they'll be far away now they've got rid of the stability at the club and attendances are down.
It’s usually the unstable clubs that go down...and there’s quite a few! I think Bolton have enough fight in them to stay up. I think Burton may drop this year sadly Expect some big money thrown around by some of those big clubs near the bottom. That could have an impact. I said it from day one - if Hecky keeps us up this season he has worked yet another miracle. We are far for safe; we need to improve, and put a winning run together. I think the squad is capable of it but we need a bit more steel, experience, another winger and a striker. We also need to keep hold of yiadom. My prediction is Birmingham Burton Hull City or Sunderland
He will have done. It will be good to hopefully at least two of some big clubs ( brum, Sunderland, reading, Hull) make the drop as it shows throwing money at something doesn’t always work. Also, it is likely that Brum or Reading will come good next season as they do have some good players. Them going down would mean there are worse teams at the bottom next season ( Wigan, Shrewsbury, Scunny etc) meaning that hopefully we don’t even have to be in a relegation dogfight next year.
20 Burton 21 Wednesday 22 Hull 23 Birmingham 24 Sunderland Reds to finish 16th. Our problems are purely on the pitch and can be sorted with the right recruitment. Some of these other teams have other burdens to carry - rudderless, badly run, massive debts, etc. Stuff like that takes it's toll. If Sunderland get themselves out of the bottom three, Coleman will have achieved a minor miracle.
I think, particularly as this division appears to be an extremely average one this season, that up to 10 or 11 teams should be worried.
I don’t think we will go down - but it is a distinct possibility. It would also have less effect on us long term than any of the others, except perhaps burton or millwall. We are secure and unburdened off the pitch, a relegation would be a setback - but no more. I’d fancy us to stay strong and challenge pretty quickly. League one might though lead to serious issues for Birmingham, Sunderland, Hull. Even Reading, qpr, wendies. Which is why I hope all the more that we survive, and watch as some perennial over spenders get their medicine whilst we kick on sensibly. If I was to bet on it, burton, bolton, Sunderland. But that may change after I’ve seen who signs who this month. Sunderland bring in a decent central midfield player, they could do ok with a tactically aware manager.
Gareth Bale is now the Sunderland manager? Burton Barnsley Sunderland We're shocking and unless we spend some cash and sign the right players for once, something PH doesn't have a great history of, we're in big big trouble.
