They wallow in " Nobody likes us, we don't care." It's a fact, if the World had piles, they would be
    in Bermondsey.

That reminds me of last cricket season when I was scoring. The female scorer of the other team was a cockney. We were batting and as usual she asked me the surname of each incoming batsman. Eventually our batter Mark Cant strode out. "Surname please?". Ooops.

Opening post: "i hate this team with a passion their support are scum of the highest order"
Second post "their supporters are scab and pox infested sister abusing, whippet plating **** lovely people"
Third post: "And that's just the good ones."

    You get the idea.

Mark Cant has never been described as a batter. Ever.

Added: Has he still got his red socks?

The last two comments are just taking the piss.

Perhaps the first had a bad experience with Barnsley fans.

Perhaps Barnsley fans had a bad experience with Millwall fans. Let's ask them, shall we?

He sure does! And he's got to bat at some point, regardless of ability.

I'm sure some did. But I'm not sure that thread makes those experiences any worse. It's hardly worth a second thought.

A bat in the hand does not a batter make :)

Played in the same team as Canty for 10+ years at Dodworth in the 80s and early 90s.

So it's OK for them to post that but not for me to post this?

Having kept wicket for Stainborough since the 80s I totally agree. My average is 10.5. That's not my run average, it's my batting position average.

Sounds like it. Played at Dodworth from 80 to 85 I think, mainly in junior sides & 2nd team. Played quite a few 1st team games though too in last couple of years. Wondering who you are now......?
