Who do we replace him with?
    Ideally not Bobby or Devaney.

    Grayson? Monk?
I would have thought the calibre of manager available has increased with the take over.

Personally I would go for Graham Alexander at Scunthorpe.

    Much rather Hecky stays though!

Not really one to speculate but if the worst happens it’s solely dependent on the will of the owners and their belief.

It could be any from Mark Hughes, to a European we’ve never heard of to Bobby Hassell.

We don’t know what they mean by not having a crazy budget.

Let's see first if the BT Sport cameras spot him watching them this afternoon or any Forest fans post a sneaky picture of him there on social media. If he's there we can trust he is probably off.

I definitely want Hecky to stay but if the worst happens my choice would be Uwe Rosler at Fleetwood.

More than likely a foreign coach , but hopefully Paul will stay ,this is looking more unlikely though.

It’ll be a nobody who gets it.

People need to realise that the new owners want to continue with the new strategy.

Very few experienced managers will want to come to a club with the weakest team in the division, very little say in recruitment & to coach a squad full of kids.

Forget Grayson, Monk etc, no chance.

We'll recruit from within, so probably Jamie Clapham or Paul Harsley. Isn't Bobby head of academy recruitment, if so it would be baffling if we even considered promoting him so quickly.

With how Fleetwood are set up and they generally seem to want to develop players, I think Rosler would be a good shout.

Would probably be an in house appointment though.

Will Hecky want Clapham to go with him?

If it’s true about Hecky not having a choice in which players to sign then It will probably be from within sadly. Absolutely barmy set up, the manager/head coach lives and dies by his squad, so to not have a choice on who to sign them its recipe for disaster!

Had that been the case, wouldn’t he have been fired some time ago?

Which is why he’s untouchable for me. He’s not a miracle worker.

Well if he is at the Forest game then he must be off because lets face it, why else would he be there

I can't see him leaving to Forest, Stoke maybe if they come calling. I would like us to appoint someone 'new' if we had to however, not just another of the same old faces.

I don’t think it makes him untouchable. The owners still have to decide whether or not he’s getting the best out of the players we’ve got. As you say, there are extenuating circumstances.

German coaches are all de rigueur these days - who's doing well in the Bundesliga II?

By that logic you can't attribute much praise on him up until last January then. The people who apparently do the recruitment must take all the praise for the team we had.

Not that I buy into this nonsense that he has no input in who we sign.

I wouldn't even know where to start with selecting a preferred replacement and I'm even less sure who the new owners would look to employ. Hopefully it won't come to this, very concerning if it did. I would imagine we'd get a relatively unknown 'coach' like Wednesday.
