It says "are ready to pay £250k", doesn't mention an offer or approach. Sun crap (hopefully). http://www.skysports.com/football/transfer-paper-talk (Wouldn't mind them being right about Alfie though )
Hopefully. I just got a newsflash from a fairly decent transfer site quoting the source as Sky Sports rather than the S*n.
Hopefully there is a bidding war for Alfie. Get our share bumped up a few hundred thousand, or a few million Funny how times change though. Can't get excited about that kind of thing now with billionaire owners on the scene. Sell on money would be small change to them, unless of course they say just spend it. Every penny Paul - fill your boots!
Sky bet 4/5 from 1/5 earlier today for Hecky as next permanent forest manager. You might think that his odds would have gone the other way if their report had substance. Anyway what will be.
the compo means **** all, the contract means **** all. will all come down to whether or not the new owners want him to stay or not. obviously if he is allowed to go, the new ownership already appears to be built on sand, and the comments in the first press conference amount to **** all. losing hecky would be the worst possible thing that could happen to us right now. i'm still massively hoping it's just all a loadaballacks
Its not just down to the new owners though is it, if Forest do come sniffing , ultimately, Hecky"s response will decide his future
To a point, but Hecky has said times many that other opportunities have come his way, and he's tuned them down because he wants to be here. I genuinely believe - and none more so than with a basket case like Forest - that if he goes now, it will be due to an impasse with the owners. Give him what he wants, and he'll stay. Thoroughly believe that.
In your reply , lies the answer , Hecky is here because he wants to be here & I do not see that changing until Hecky says he has had enough . To be honest , it is all hypothetical as it is all speculation, as it was with Sunderland & as neither Sunderland or Forest have made an official approach to the club , then it is business as normal
